Wonderous Wreath, Flower Patch, Mixed Bunch, Park Lane

Looking for a quick card to make? Wondrous Wreath is a great stamp set to have on hand and with a framelit to cut it out, who wouldn’t enjoy using it? I made this card after seeing the inspiration photo from The Card Concept shown below.

I think my style is closest to the Clean & Layered style. My card started out by choosing the stamp sets, Wondrous Wreath. I love the leaves in it but, since it is a wreath, I needed to cover the center and chose the flowers from Flower Patch. The full wreath stamp was inked up with Wild Wasabi and stamped off once, then the second layer stamp was inked in the same color, but kept in the darker shade for some color variation. Flower Patch is a great stamp set and was perfect covering the center of the wreath. After inking the large flower in Daffodil Delight and layering it with the smaller flower in Wild Wasabi, I cut out the two images, the wreath and large flower, with their framelits and then popped them up with dimensionals and laid it down off center, same as the inspiration photo. Two ribbons were layered together and taped down, then the cute little flower from Mixed Bunch was stamped and fussy-cut. Lastly, the sentiment from Embellished Events was inked up and cut with the Itty Bitty Banner framelit, along with Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi, my favorite way to make a simple sentiment stand out on a card! This card came together very quickly and feels like a wonderful summer day, don’t you think?!
